There are various crime-related stories that may be found in any newspaper, on TV, or on the radio, including those involving school shootings, kidnapped children, child molesters, kidnapped children, school bullies, sex trafficking, house invasion murder, rape, abuse, robbery, war, and terrorism.

• Sex trafficking is the term used to describe human trafficking for sexual exploitation. It has been compared to a form of modern slavery since victims of this kind of sexual slavery are forced to engage in non-consensual sexual actions. Intercourse traffickers, also referred to as pimps, trick their victims into engaging in various forms of paid sexual activity. Sex traffickers utilize coercion, trickery, and force to find, transport, and provide their victims for prostitution.
• A school shooting is a gun-related attack on a learning establishment, such as a kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school, or university. Many school shootings are also categorized as mass shootings due to the high victim count. Recall the February 14, 2018, shooting at the Parkland school, which left 14 students and three staff members dead.
• Bullying at school, like bullying outside of school, is when one or more perpetrators regularly act violently toward a victim who is physically weaker or more powerful socially than the perpetrators. Bullying can be verbal or violent. In contrast to other types of peer conflict, bullying is persistent in character. Numerous behaviors, such as continuous verbal, emotional, or physical aggression, might be considered types of bullying at school. Sexual and cyberbullying are two more types of bullying. Even in colleges and universities, bullying occurs.
• Child abduction, often known as child theft, is the unlawful transfer of a minor (a kid under the age of legal adulthood) from the custody of the minor's biological parents or other legally appointed guardians.
• Home invasion, also referred to as a "hot prowl burglary," is a sort of burglary (or, in some jurisdictions, a crime that is legally defined) in which a criminal violently enters a building while the occupants are inside. A hot prowl burglary may be conducted out covertly or blatantly, and its many goals may include theft, robbery, assault, sexual assault, murder, kidnapping, or other crimes. The list goes on and on.
